Objectives

HESAPRO has 4 basic objectives as follows:

• Creating awareness on health and safety at work and its impact on productivity.
• Establishing cooperation for the exchange of knowledge, practices and experiences between the partners for contributing health and safety at work.
• Building networks and cooperations among partners.
• Providing a platform for the development of knowledge, strategic and practical ideas that can be put into use.

Outputs

The main output of the project is a basic, clear tool kit which targets employers, employees and training providers. This package will be comprised of;

• Background research on the link between productivity and OSH,
• Case Studies from partner countries,
• Guide  on the rights and responsibilities of the employers and employees  on OSH, the link between productivity and OSH and the EU Legislation,
• Leaflets for workers & employers,
• A presentation emphasizing the key issues stated in the background research and introducing other project outputs, 
• Resources &
• Instruments.

Long term impact of the project is to increase awareness on health and safety at work and establishing a network among the project partners for sharing knowledge and best practices. The awareness on health and safety at workplace is expected to be raised through the dissemination activities and through the results of the project. So, both the outputs and also the dissemination activities are expected to contribute to the impact of the project.

As the outputs will be displayed on the web pages of the partner institutions, stakeholders of each partner in different countries will be able to reach and benefit from the content. Thus, the impact shall not only be local but also international.

In addition, after the background research has been completed, an article will be prepared and sent to an international journal to be published and/or submitted at a Congress. Thus, this shall not only contribute to dissemination activities but also to the international impact of the project.
