Work packages

WP1 — Management and quality assurance
Coordination, reporting and internal quality checks, led by the coordinating institution throughout the project lifetime.

WP2 — Background research
Desk research and a review of existing evidence on the OHS–productivity relationship across partner countries, published as the project's Background Research report.

WP3 — Instrument design and validation
Development of practical assessment instruments, tested with volunteer enterprises before being finalised.

WP4 — Guides, leaflets and training material
Translation of research findings and validated instruments into accessible guides and leaflets for managers, safety officers and employees.

WP5 — Piloting
Real-workplace piloting of the toolkit with partner-country enterprises, with feedback fed back into WP3 and WP4 before final publication.

WP6 — Dissemination
Distribution through partner networks, this website, and the project's resources section, alongside conventional dissemination events.
Timeline
As with other Lifelong Learning Programme partnership projects, HESAPRO runs on a multi-year cycle: research and instrument design in the earlier phase, piloting and refinement in the middle phase, and consolidation and dissemination in the closing phase. Rather than running sequentially in isolation, each work package overlaps with the next so that early piloting feedback can still influence the guides and leaflets before they are finalised.
Quality assurance
Outputs are reviewed jointly by the consortium before publication. Instruments and guides are piloted with real enterprises rather than published on the basis of desk research alone, which is why the instruments and guides sections note the piloting stage each item has reached.
