Glossary
- OHS
- Occupational Health and Safety — the field concerned with the safety, health and welfare of people at work.
- Psychosocial risk
- Workplace factors — workload, role clarity, management style — that can affect mental health and, in turn, safety behaviour and output.
- Near-miss
- An incident that could have caused harm but did not, used as an early indicator in the reporting practices covered in the guides.
- Cost of inaction
- The estimated financial impact of not addressing a known workplace risk, as calculated by the project's Cost-of-Inaction Estimator (see instruments).
